There’s nothing like a May wedding- flowers blooming, bees buzzing, that slight cool breeze mixing within the humid Mississippi sky. It all began one day when Joseph texted Reid asking what time her game started in high school. Later she found out that he already knew what time her game started but wanted a reason to talk to her. How sweet is that?

Their wedding day was filled with family and friends, dancing, laughing, and cooling off from the hot sunny weather. From the first look until the final grand exit, anyone with eyes could see their love was nothing but true and sincere. Their playfulness and light-hearted attitudes made the day even more fun. Jumping on Joseph's back after the first look, it was clear to see that Reid was having a wonderful day. The sunset also was perfect and made them actually glow under her flowing veil as they posed for photos.

The ceremony was filled with many more family and friends coming to join in their celebration. The reception was down a long winding gravel road leading the way to a wonderful cabin surrounded by woods and a gorgeous lake. As they rode off into the sunset, fireworks fluttered in the sky becoming the perfect backdrop to the perfect wedding day.

Joseph and Reid were married on May 25, 2019, at Ingomar Baptist Church outside New Albany, Mississippi.

Being genuine and truly authentic in this day and age can be a hard mantra to live by. In the hype and sometimes chaos of your wedding day, emotions can run high, small details may seem like major decisions, and time being with friends and family can get put off until the last few minutes of the day.

Emily and Steven, however, made it a point to remind themselves to be completely true to who they are, which meant a private time with each other after the first look, which meant having pictures with Emily’s sweet pup, which meant being with friends and family throughout the day celebrating every second they had, and which meant being flexible and up for anything to make their special day one to reminder fondly.

The forecast said it would be raining all day, but someone “up there” was looking out for them because it only rained about 20 minutes during the afternoon. Emily looked incredible in her lovely wedding gown. Steven’s face said it all when he turned around and saw her in it. Their genuine love and tenderness toward one another allowed for seamless natural moments of affection unaltered by directed poses or prompts. They were truly at ease and completely comfortable with one another.

After the ceremony, the crowd moved across the street to the Tupelo Cotton Mill where everything was intricately decorated with gorgeous flowers and ornaments, with a floral chandelier as the crowning jewel. Everyone ate, drank, danced, laughed, and cheered to celebrate the newly married couple. Steven and Emily were married at First United Methodist Church on May 11, 2019, in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Love has a tendency to come at a time least expected. You could say that’s what happened for Austin and Macy. Macy was Austin’s son’s kindergarten teacher and Austin said that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Fast forward a little bit, and their wedding was a sweet sentimental ode to their small town of Louisville, Mississippi.

Macy’s wedding gown was immaculately designed with lace with sleeves that embraced around her shoulders. Austin looked sharp in his blue suit with colorful socks for a unique touch. Their wedding ceremony was held in the gorgeous First Methodist Church with their colors and flowers enhancing the beautiful colors of the stained glass windows all around them.

Their celebration that followed was at the Winston County Shrine Club which was incredibly decorated with a bold wooden arbor in the middle. Every detail of the day was perfect from the setting to the weather and from the family and friends to the dazzling tender hearted couple. Austin and Macy were married on April 27, 2019, at First Methodist Church of Louisville, Mississippi.

When you step into Old Waverly Golf Club, it seems like you step back in time. Huge elegant paintings hang on almost every inch of the walls. Large windows look out onto the vast landscapes surrounding the club. Elegance, classic, timeless seem to become tangible realities when one steps onto the grounds.

Elegance, classic, and timeless are also the best adjectives to describe the wedding day of HC and Anna. Anna beamed in her wedding gown and her radiance only escalated when she opened the crown jewel of her attire, an heirloom necklace given by HC. Exchanging intimate letters during their first look, nothing but joy and excitement permeated their expressions as they saw one another for the first time on their special day. The fragrance of fresh flowers and the fickle Mississippi Spring rain draped beautifully around the outside garden courtyard during the ceremony.

Providentially, the rain and thunder held off so that HC and Anna could have the ceremony of exquisite sentiment and delicate simplicity. Family and friends feasted and celebrated the new couple until it was time for them to drive off in spring rain. HC and Anna were married on April 6, 2019, at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.

Bryant and Hannah have the sweetest love story. They fell in love as they worked alongside one another at a Christian summer camp. There’s truly nothing like falling in love in the summer. Bryant and Hannah’s love, however, is centered around and upon the person of Jesus Christ. It was so evident on their wedding day that they were making a covenant with Him and with each other.

During their first look, you could see Bryant’s expression filled with joy and excitement that it was finally their wedding day. Hannah, surrounded by her sweet college friends and roommates, glowed and beamed with happiness and anticipation to begin her new chapter of life with the love of her life. As she walked down the aisle, she was greeted by her groom and the representation of Christ with a white cross above the mantle that her father and mother created for the special day.

After the ceremony, both parents of the bride and groom welcomed the new additions to their families with open arms. Without a doubt, Bryant and Hannah’s love, life, and marriage beautifully glorifies Jesus and it was such an honor to capture it on film. Bryant and Hannah were married on March 30, 2019, at Battle Mountain Farm in Franklin, Tennessee.

Sometimes when you encounter a couple, you walk away saying “They are perfect for one another.” For Christian and Emily, that statement is so true. They are both so kind, gentle, and complimentary that you truly do walk away saying that they are a perfect match.

On their sweet wedding day, it was apparent that family means the world to them. They had their sisters and brothers along with their nieces and nephews standing on the altar alongside them. The ceremony was performed by Emily’s father, making it even more a family-centered event. The reception at Green Gate Farmhouse added to the sweetness of the day with its stunning landscapes and exceptionally detailed elements.

For Christian and Emily, nothing else could have better than to have their family and close friends share and encourage them as they walked together into their new chapter of life with one another. Do you know that look that someone gives to the person that they have fallen in love with, that tender genuine look of care and captivation? That look of bewildered awe yet complete comfort? That’s the look that Bo had when he was around Jenna. Everyone could see their sincere affection and inspiring love that they have for one another. You could tell that not only did they love each other, but they were also best friends and happy companions. Their love encompassed all aspects of life.

Jenna was absolutely stunning in her elegant slim wedding gown. During their first look, there were tears of joy and giggles of giddiness. Surrounded by family and friends, their ceremony centered upon Christ’s call to commitment and holy covenant of man and woman becoming husband and wife. The reception was at McClain Lodge in Brandon, Mississippi and had a live band inside and a s’more station around a bond fire outside. There’s a steadfast kind of love that is discovered for couples who have known each other and have walked through life together for a long time. For Dustin and Madison, they have discovered and beautifully displayed this kind of love and in the month of February of 2019, they decided to take the next step into marriage together.

Madison glowed in her beautiful wedding gown and Dustin looked great in his black tuxedo. As they read letters to one another, normally stoic and quiet Dustin revealed the underlying emotion and passion that he had for Madison and the anticipation of her finally becoming his bride and wife. It truly melted everyone’s hearts to watch their precious daughter, Parker, walk down the aisle right before her mom during the ceremony.

During the reception, both Madison, Dustin, and Parker had their certain cakes celebrating the event. As Madison danced with her dad, Dustin and Parker danced right alongside. The whole day was truly touching and heartwarming. Dustin and Madison were married on February 23, 2019, at The Antler in Tupelo, Mississippi.

“Who knew that a girl from Mississippi had to go all the way to Texas to find a husband. Who knew that out of all the girls in Texas, Steven had to go to Mississippi to find one worthy of his heart.” They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, and for Steven and Kelsey, they wouldn’t let a few states stand in the way of their true love for one another.

On their wedding day, Kelsey looked stunning in her intricately crafted wedding gown designed by Willow Bride. Steven’s classic blue tuxedo was crowned with stylish diamond cuff links and buttons. The Historic First United Methodist Church in Tupelo never looked and sounded so beautiful during the ceremony. With gorgeous greenery hanging from the columns, lovely scented flowers draped from several pews, and the choir proceeding down the aisle singing “This is the Day”, everyone there enjoyed all their senses being involved.

Steven and Kelsey drove to the reception in an old fashioned car greeted by a stunningly decorated Cotton Mill. Thanks to Memphis Soul Revue, everyone danced the night away enjoying the company, the cakes, and the celebration. Steven and Kelsey were married on February 16, 2019 at First United Methodist in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Young love is so inspiring. Seeing the twinkle in their eyes, watching their expressions of ease intermingled with excitement, and hearing their genuine laughter and joy make that love so obvious. Presley and Nolan were the sweetest couple, and it was such an honor to be able to capture their love on film.

Presley truly looked like a princess in her wedding gown and veil. Nolan looked stoic and timeless in his black tuxedo. When family and friends walked into the church they were welcomed into a beautifully lit sanctuary covered in white Christmas lights and trees. It was a winter wonderland in the middle of Mississippi. It was almost as breathtaking as Presley as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom.

After the tender and intimate ceremony, everyone traveled to The Red Barn venue where there was a lively celebration of the couple. The whole day was a dream filled with foggy midsts, cloudy skies, and a couple radiant with true love. Nolan and Presley were married on December 15, 2018, at Flat Rock Baptist Church.

It was a rainy December day in the south as dark grey clouds rippled and floated over the small yet populated town of Starkville. The newly renovated cotton mill stood as a mighty pillar in the midst of this busy college town. Neither would rain, sleet, nor wind sway the steadfastness of this young couple’s love and eagerness to become one. Nick and Caroline didn’t mind the weather because they only had eyes for each other.

Caroline’s stunning gown was beautifully decorated around her shoulders and chest reflecting beams of light and her exquisite smile. Nick and his groomsmen wore classic dashing tuxedos that will forever be timeless. The main hall in The Mill was where they held their ceremony as many friends and family looked on with joy.

After the intimate vows and loving declarations of commitment, they truly had an unbelievably fun reception. So many people danced, ate, and celebrated with the couple. Nick and Caroline were married on December 8, 2018, at The Mill in Starkville, Mississippi.

Under the foggy winter sky, as rain trickled down from the clouds and watered the ground, there was an excited couple waiting for the moment they had been dreaming of for six years. John Allen and Lauren have been anticipating their wedding day for years, and on December 1, 2018, that dream came true.

Even though it was a wet, crisp, and hazy day, nothing could dampen their love for one another. As Lauren stepped into her gown, she instantly glowed and radiated pure beauty. John Allen’s tux had a unique color of blue that will most definitely become a classic dignified style. Their letters to one another were filled with their story of coming together, not knowing the future, yet falling in love throughout the different seasons of life that they already walked through together.

After the lovely ceremony, they experienced the incredible sunset unhindered by any rain or mist. It was apparent that John Allen and Lauren were ready to live the rest of their lives as husband and wife. John Allen and Lauren were married on December 1, 2018, at The Antler in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The wedding day of Lindsey and Tony was a day like none other. Gathered at Heartwood Hall in Rossville, Tennessee, Lindsey and Tony made heartfelt speeches and vows to one another in front of their friends and families. They decided to do the traditional first look as she walked down the aisle being escorted by her beloved father. Lindsey was truly stunning in her sleek form-fitting wedding gown adorned with an elegant high neckline. Tony was tenderly struck with awe and emotion when he saw her walking toward him. The moments of sporadic rain couldn’t dampen their excitement and love during the ceremony.

The celebration afterward was absolutely incredible. Many family members of both sides were able to attend, including a large group of Lindsey’s family. They brought such fun and distinctive touches to the celebration including belly dancing, eclectic music, and more. Lindsey and Tony’s first dance was beautifully and wonderfully choreographed and the speeches from the maid of honor, best man, and father of the bride only added to the sweet sentiment of the night.

Lindsey’s father said it best when he said that “Lindsey and Tony are going to make a lovely couple,” because they are truly lovely people whose love for one another is an inspiration to everybody who knows them. Lindsey and Tony were married on November 2, 2018, at Heartwood Hall in Rossville, Tennessee.

We watched everything and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Perfection. We loved the audio of the speeches coming in and out with the music. The replay movements. Those special happy moments that I didn’t realize at the time, like hugging my dad and Anthony and I singing to one another. The finale ending with the arabic music. I feel like we are reliving the day and it’s amazing!

Weddings have the potential to be a beautiful expression of the things that you love most about life. Those things can be special people, beautiful locations, or even items dedicated to your favorite time of the year. For Robert and Meredith, their wedding was surrounded by themes of their favorite holiday, Halloween!

Meredith’s floral bouquet had gorgeous flowers with whimsical feathers tucked throughout. Robert was stunned when he saw his flawless bride for the first time on their special day in the backyard of the timeless Rowan Oak property where, author, William Faulkner made his personal abode. Surrounded by the giant cedar trees and lovely family and friends, Robert and Meredith made their commitment of marriage together.

Afterward, they invited everyone to attend their reception at The Lyric on Oxford’s Town Square, which was most definitely the party of the year. The Halloween details made for a more personal and unique distinction of their celebration. Masks and costume-inspired headbands were passed around as the crowds danced to Heart Byrne, which was a live band from Austin, Texas that was a Talking Heads cover band! A giant werewolf statue made his appearance along with the disco balls that soared on top the floral arrangements. Chanting "Hotty Toddy" along with their party and hopping into the back of a police SUV, Robert and Meredith made their spectacular exit. Robert and Meredith were married on October 27, 2018, at Rowan Oak in Oxford, Mississippi.

The wedding of Christopher and Virginia Rose was a breath of fresh air. Instead of focusing on the all the usual wedding normalities like getting ready at a fancy salon or having a grand exit, they truly desired to focus on the people that were surrounding them.

Virginia Rose got ready at her grandmother’s house in Saltillo, Mississippi. The house was adorned with vintage heirloom antiques that chronicled the lives of the children and family who lived there. Virginia Rose’s wedding gown wrapped around her perfectly and matched the timelessness of the setting. Christopher’s suit was a stunning hue of blue extenuated by his red tie and dark skin tone. They had their first look in the backyard of her grandmother’s home under a beautiful oak tree with the audience of their bridal party and family members. You could see it in their eyes when they looked at each other - that they were sincerely and deeply in love with each other.

Afterward, they went to Kingfisher Lodge in Verona, Mississippi where the ceremony was held on the other side of the gleaming lake right at sunset. The celebration of their matrimony was an unforgettable and incredible party that spanned over the grounds of the lodge. Vendors like Romie’s Grocery, the Campertini, The Brunch Box, and the Ghost Town Blues Band took the party to the next level. Instead of having a grand exit, they opted to take a massive group photo of all that were there so that they could remember the people who joined them to celebrate their love. It was a truly amazing day for a truly amazing couple. Christopher and Virginia Rose were married on October 20, 2018, at Kingfisher Lodge outside of Tupelo, Mississippi.

The Mississippi Delta is the quintessential expression of true southern beauty. Cotton fields and blue skies fill the landscape for miles and miles. Massive giant trees provide the stunning leafy canopy of shade and sporadic beams of warm sunlight. The Delta is where Michael and Shelby once lived and still love. Michael chronicled their story perfectly when he read in his letter to his bride, “...I first had a crush on you, to liking you, to loving you, and now to becoming one with you.”

Their wedding was the complete balance of vintage charm and modern boho. Shelby’s dress was a gorgeous gown with intricate designs. Michael’s suit was perfected with a floral tie that blended wonderfully with the theme of the day. Their ceremony was in the backyard of the timeless Thompson House in downtown Leland, Mississippi.

It was evident that Michael and Shelby’s love was a love built on friendship, laughter, and sincere joy. Friends and family celebrated the sweet couple with eating, drinking, and dancing the night away! Michael and Shelby were married on October 13, 2018, at the Thompson House in Leland, Mississippi.

Alexa and CJ’s wedding day was something like a dream. Interestingly, the town of Grenada, Mississippi decided that it would be the best day to host a town Jubilee celebrating its history with music and a fair-like feeling.

From the moment you saw them look at each other for the first time on that day, there was absolutely no doubt that Alexa and CJ were head over heels in love with each other. Their letters to each other reminded them of the extent and magnitude of their love causing them to shake and tear up from the emotion bubbling up within themselves. Moments were stunning outside as they posed and held each other- outrunning the various rain clouds and thunderstorms.

A small town wedding is truly a unique gem. Everyone in the town surrounds the newly wedded couple with prayer, encouragement, and celebration. Nothing can really compare to the excitement and love displayed in a small town wedding. Louisville, Mississippi is one of those treasured towns. Growing up there, it was unquestionably the perfect place for Avery to marry her Tennessee man.

Gathered at her parent’s beautiful home, Avery and her bridesmaids were dressed to the tee. Her gown was gorgeous and had beautiful lace sleeves that hung gracefully off her shoulders. As a gift from his bride-to-be, Garrett proudly wore his University of Tennessee cufflinks to complete his The Black Tux tuxedo. The church was completely packed from front to back as Avery and Garrett sweetly made their vows to one another. To top that off they left the church with an exuberant and rare confetti exit! Everyone gathered down the street at Market Cafe for the reception, where there were dozens of unique finger foods and signature dishes.
