Raleigh and Payson's wedding day was perfect. Their love for each other and their precious daughter eclipsed all the other worries that often plague wedding days. Their wedding day was "them" to a tee, and as stated above- it was perfect.
The day began for the girls at the elegant Mason Boutique Hotel on St. Charles. The home was a beautiful backdrop for all the lovely girls to prepare. After hair and makeup, Raleigh walked down the stairs in her wedding gown, which was intricately beaded. She was so stunning in her gown.
The ceremony and reception took place on Payson and Raleigh's land, where they raised cattle and had the cutest home up on the hill. The ceremony site had white pews and a wooden altar. When Payson saw their daughter at their first look, he picked her up and cried. Actually, they both cried! After their special moment, it was time for his first look with his bride. Words can't express Payson and Raleigh's love for each other, but the first look on their wedding day is a close look into the depth of emotion. After their moment, they read personal vows to each other causing more tears. It was one of the sweetest moments ever to be captured on film.
The ceremony was filled with many family and friends. They recited vows and exchanged rings. They branded a piece of cowhide with their wedding day brand. It was a joyous occasion.
The reception following the ceremony was an incredible celebration, filled with margaritas, a limbo contest, and speeches from the maid and matron of honor and the best man and brother of the groom. The taco bar was also an extreme hit. Everyone was complete and ready to party on the dance floor. The couple exited under a tunnel of sparklers, and Payson got too excited, picked his bride up, and ran away with her back through the tunnel. They were so fun to be around!
Raleigh and Payson were married on November 16, 2024 on family land in Winston County, Mississippi.
