Snow in the south is a rare occurrence. Snow in the south on your wedding day is an even rarer treasure. Both snow weddings that we have had the pleasure to film were both in Memphis. The first one took place right as we got started in our business; the second one many successful years later. Erin and Kevin’s day was beautiful and quite unforgettable.

Erin looked gorgeous in her off-the-shoulder wedding gown and classic Hollywood-styled hair. She was brave to venture out into the snow with heels but was lucky to have beautiful fur to help her stay warm. Kevin also looked handsome in his wedding attire, but nothing could have been more remarkable than Kevin’s face when saw Erin during their first look.

The ceremony was officiated by Dr. James R. Young III and he did an excellent job reminding Erin, Kevin of the first and foremost purpose of marriage. (Centered on Christ and to glorify God) With a stunning solo by a dear friend and a God-honoring ceremony, Erin and Kevin were married.

The reception that followed was another delightful time. With a cocktail hour, a festive band, and a wall full of donuts, everything about it was wonderful. Erin danced and Kevin mingled until she persuaded him to join her. Watching them together was such a joy. They left their unforgettable snow day wedding through a line of sparklers to serenade their new life together as husband and wife.

Erin and Kevin were married on March 12, 2022 at Avon Acres in Memphis, Tennessee.

Aubrey and Kyler were very thoughtful and intentional when planning their intimate wedding day. Only the closest relatives and a few friends were included in the day. They wanted to focus the majority of their attention on the thing that truly mattered to them. Never before have we had the pleasure of capturing such specific, unique, and intentional words of commitment from such personal vows. As the rain poured all morning, their day was very laid back, and the perfect day to become husband and wife.

Aubrey truly looked stunning in her unique wedding gown with one sleeve on the side and a veil that covered her face as she walked down the short aisle. It was a special moment when her father kissed her on the cheek as he gave her away.

Kyler also looked exceedingly handsome in his Army Dress Mess white uniform. Both of them together were stunning!

The ceremony was the centerpiece of the day. With the incredible personal vows, communion, and a special prayer from Kyler’s father, it was such a joyous and meaningful time despite the rain outside.

The reception was quaint and perfect with cake and champagne. Both cakes were beautiful. Mingling with friends and family was also a high priority for the couple. They left the wedding in a classic car as confetti bombs exploded into the air. It was perfect for this classy couple.

Aubrey and Kyler were married on September 18, 2021, at LEA Farms in Oakland, Tennessee

Sincerity, intentionality, and genuine hospitality beautifully describe the wedding weekend of Lizy and Glenn. They exemplify these characteristics effortlessly and naturally. When we left Memphis after their weekend, we walked away dazed by the sheer beauty of it all, encouraged by their worshipful ceremony, and heart’s filled to brim with joy because of who they are.

The rehearsal dinner was at The Tower Room at the Clark Tower in East Memphis. 39 floors above the city of Memphis, person after person talked about the character and integrity of both Lizy and Glenn. It was amazing to hear all the love that so many different people had for them and how genuinely excited they were about the matrimony ahead. It was a wonderful evening.

The next day we met Lizy and her bridal party and family at the lovely Airbnb, Crestmere Estate. It was the perfect setting for this classy and elegant woman to get ready to see her soon-to-be husband. Her dress was equally as elegant and beautifully detailed. She then had a sweet first look with her father before heading off to the Dixon Gardens to see Glenn.

Glenn was very excited to see Lizy. They did their first look in the shaded area around the entrance of the garden. Lizy, with excited gracefulness, leaped toward Glenn and his expression said it all. The happy couple was finally together, all nerves disappeared. Humidity aside, it was a dream to film these two throughout the garden. Everything was lovely and vibrant with colors and lush greenery. Their bridal party was also so excited and amazed to film.

The ceremony was at Second Presbyterian Church. The enormity of the grand sanctuary was such a beautiful place for these two intentional people to be married. Hymns were sung. The homily was incredible. The overall scene was breathtaking.

After the ceremony and a few more photos at the church with family, the Dixon Garden was ready for a celebration! There was a beautifully lit beer garden with outdoor games. There was a fresh pizza station among the other food tables. The stunning cakes were inside with a gorgeous floral chandelier gorgeously hanging over the tiered bridal cake. As the band played, the dance floor was rarely empty. People were ready to celebrate with and for Lizy and Glenn!

Everything about this weekend was beautiful and remarkable.

Lizy and Glenn were married on June 12, 2021, at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

When they say “opposites attract,” they may be talking specifically about Carley and Taylor. Carly is a cute, curly-hair, bubbly, crafty, never-met-a-stranger, happy, and energetic girl. Taylor is a quiet, mellow, chill, and calm guy. Together, they make an incredible couple. They beautifully balance each other and bring strengths to each other’s weaknesses. It was incredibly evident, that they have a love like no other and they learned how to love so beautifully by the examples set by their parents. Carly and Taylor’s day was so fun and light-hearted. Everyone, there was filled to the brim with joy because of them.

Carly was surrounded by her best of friends. She wore a beautiful A-line styled wedding gown adorned with a beautiful flower crown that made her glow. Taylor was surrounded by some of his best friends. His best man and Carly arranged to prank Taylor for the first look. Taylor would think he was about to see Carly, but it would be his best man in a wedding dress as he turned around! Taylor was a great sport and just laughed at the ridiculous moment!

Later during the ceremony, Carly and Taylor read their vows. They were sweet, sentimental, and lovely vows that allowed everyone to see the genuine and sincere love that they had for one another. They also said thank you to their parents for setting them up for such success and being examples of marriages that have stayed together.

At the reception, they had a few members of the bridal party say toasts. Carly’s dad also made a toast to the new married couple that brought him and Carly to tears. All-day long, Carly and Taylor were filled with so much love from those around them. It was such a joy to be a part of it all.

When two of the most genuine people ever get together, it is truly a perfect moment. Evan and Mollie are two of the sweetest people on the earth and in perfect grace and sincerity, they were brought together.

At Pete and Sam's famous restaurant in Mid-town Memphis, family and friends gathered together to toast the happy couple waiting for the next day to see Mollie and Evan be married. Meeting in nursing school, Mollie sending a message to Evan, falling in love not only with each other but with each other’s families, are all the pieces of their puzzle of life that came perfectly together. Laughter and tears flowed effortlessly as the night continued as one after another came to tell how Evan and Mollie loved them so graciously and wonderfully. Truly Mollie and Evan are a testament of loving and caring for others well.

The next day, there were rain showers that beautiful cooled the day. The new venue in Memphis, Avon Acres, had beautiful greenery around the area and charming rooms for each of the parties to get ready in comfortably. Mollie’s mom and sister helped her into her wedding gown that had gorgeous lace sleeves and a stunning beaded belt. Her veil was the perfect gem to add to her already glowing demeanor. As Evan turned around to see his bride, one couldn’t doubt the easygoing and steadfast love that he has for her. Excitement and celebration happened all throughout the wedding day.

The ceremony has perfect details of prayer and sentiment as they recited vows and commitments to one another with smiles beaming brightly. Mollie was ecstatic right before the kiss saying, “We did it!!” Afterward, the celebrations kicked into full gear with dancing and cake cutting and more dancing! Nothing could stop this party!

It was a complete joy to be a part of Mollie and Evan’s wedding weekend and to hear their story by those who love them. Evan and Mollie were married on November 23, 2019, at Avon Acres in Memphis, Tennessee.

“The blessing of the Lord—it makes truly rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” Proverbs 10:22 was the blessing Joel read on his wedding day over his marriage to Jalissa. Most people wouldn’t know all the prayers, intentional preparations, and detailed planning that took place to truly consecrate this day above all other wedding days. For Joel and Jalissa, this day was one they yearned for many years prior; this day was one they patiently waited upon the Lord for; this day was to be not only displaying the sacred aspects of a marriage covenant, but it was to exceedingly glorify the Lord God above all else.

Joel and Jalissa’s wedding day was truly a display of what the heavenly feast may look like. People of many nations, backgrounds, and experiences came together to behold a holy and sacred moment in the midst of everyday life- a wedding ceremony and celebration. Jalissa flowed in her wedding gown radiating the beauty of a woman of strength and dignity. She truly embodied a woman spoken of in Proverbs 31. Joel was nervous until the point where he got to hold Jalissa’s hand as they read sweet letters that the other had written.

But it wasn’t until the bride walked down the aisle escorted by her older brother that the groom got to behold her. Every aspect of the ceremony had meaning and purposefully directed everyone’s gazes not upon the couple, but upon the true and perfect lover of our souls, Christ Jesus.

At the celebration, intentionality encompassed every passing moment. From speeches from family and friends to passing out slices of the wedding cake to every individual person, for Joel and Jalissa this wasn’t just a party; the reception continued to praise and glorify the Lord. Jalissa even prepared a special song dedicated to her mother in which she used American Sign Language to sing all the words. Joel got to enjoy a moment of dancing with his mother and one of his brothers who came all the way from Uganda.

Joel and Jalissa have dedicated their lives to Jesus and it was only fitting for them to intentionally dedicate their wedding day to Him as well.

Joel and Jalissa were married on May 18, 2019, at Harvest Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

The wedding day of Lindsey and Tony was a day like none other. Gathered at Heartwood Hall in Rossville, Tennessee, Lindsey and Tony made heartfelt speeches and vows to one another in front of their friends and families. They decided to do the traditional first look as she walked down the aisle being escorted by her beloved father. Lindsey was truly stunning in her sleek form-fitting wedding gown adorned with an elegant high neckline. Tony was tenderly struck with awe and emotion when he saw her walking toward him. The moments of sporadic rain couldn’t dampen their excitement and love during the ceremony.

The celebration afterward was absolutely incredible. Many family members of both sides were able to attend, including a large group of Lindsey’s family. They brought such fun and distinctive touches to the celebration including belly dancing, eclectic music, and more. Lindsey and Tony’s first dance was beautifully and wonderfully choreographed and the speeches from the maid of honor, best man, and father of the bride only added to the sweet sentiment of the night.

Lindsey’s father said it best when he said that “Lindsey and Tony are going to make a lovely couple,” because they are truly lovely people whose love for one another is an inspiration to everybody who knows them. Lindsey and Tony were married on November 2, 2018, at Heartwood Hall in Rossville, Tennessee.

We watched everything and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Perfection. We loved the audio of the speeches coming in and out with the music. The replay movements. Those special happy moments that I didn’t realize at the time, like hugging my dad and Anthony and I singing to one another. The finale ending with the arabic music. I feel like we are reliving the day and it’s amazing!

"For the Sake of the World" by Without Words

Nothing is a better expression of the beauty of diversity than a wedding and marriage ceremony. This couple’s wedding was such an extraordinary day that incorporated the grace, elegance, and honor of different cultures and backgrounds coming together to celebrate everlasting love and eternal commitment. From the moment she stepped onto the grounds of Heartwood Hall, she was breathtaking. Her poise and ease as the day began with her small group of bridesmaids made it sweet and an honor to behold. His genuine and tender heart for his bride as he turned for his first look at her in her gorgeous wedding gown would make anyone witnessing it swell with happiness and bliss. During their ceremony, they incorporated many unique and considerate aspects. They honored their families by giving each mother a rose. They lit unity candles and the officiant gave them their first gift by conducting a coin ceremony. Speeches from family members, dancing, and merriment made the reception a fun, yet heart-warming finale to the day. They were married at Heartwood Hall on November 10, 2017.

"Anywhere We Go (Stripped Version)" by KAPTAN

Kyle and Anna awoke on this Friday morning to an unimaginable winter wonderland. It's not exactly what most people envision for their wedding day, especially in Memphis, Tennessee, but what a great day it was. From the short and frigid photoshoots to the hot dance floor, it was a day we will not soon forget.
