The grand extravagance of Caroline and Jeffrey’s wedding weekend was one like no other. Incredible and creative floral arrangements, tables overfilled with delicious and fresh food, and the sophistication of venues were only a few of the many magnificent details of this awe-inspiring wedding weekend.
The weekend began with a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Northwood Country Club. The large windows in the dining room with the golf lanes behind was an incredible place to begin festivities. Even though a large storm came through, family and friends toasted the couple and enjoyed a post-toast to enjoy the out-of-town company even more. A live band also played as people laughed and talked throughout the evening.
On the day of the wedding, the bridal party arrived at the Episcopal Church of The Mediator to begin getting ready. In the Parish Hall, there was a table filled with timeless touches from Caroline’s family heritage that she would incorporate throughout the day. Her gown was flawless with a unique lace sweater-like top for her to wear over the strapless gown. She truly looked royal in her gown. Jeffrey’s black tuxedo also made him look dignified. Together Caroline and Jeffrey were such a stunning couple. Even though it was such a hot and humid day in June, they had such a sweet first look revealed in the church's memory garden. Caroline also had a first look with her bridesmaids and brother and father. Everyone was ecstatic for the time to come for the ceremony.
The ceremony was one of immense intentionality and prayer. Held in the church where her parents were married, every detail of the ceremony had significance and importance. Blessings upon blessings were spoken and prayers over the couple. Vows and rings were exchanged so that finally Jeffrey and Caroline were husband and wife.
The reception was held at the MSU Riley Center in downtown Meridian. The ballroom was filled with the most lofty and extravagant floral arrangements that one could ever imagine. Even in the center of the dance floor, there was a tent-like structure covered in greenery with a brilliant flower chandelier. It was beyond magnificent. Throughout the room, there were numerous tables filled with incredible food. Cajun, Southern, Italian, Mexican, and Petit fours are just a few of the foods that filled the tables. The band was also an incredible aspect of the evening that had no problem getting the people to celebrate the darling couple. After an incredible evening, Caroline and Jeffrey leave in style in a vintage Rolls Royce.
Caroline and Jeffrey were married on June 17, 2023, at the Episcopal Church of The Mediator in Meridian, Mississippi.
