Layne and Joseph’s wedding day was beyond amazing. Even though they grew up together in Meridian, Oxford is a very special place to them. It was the perfect place to become husband and wife.

The morning began at the beautiful South Lamar House. Its vintage sophistication made everything look pristine and unique. Layne and her bridal party got ready there. She looked incredible in her wedding gown that had little details of something blue and something borrowed. On the train of her gown, there was blue lace that was on her mother’s wedding gown. She also had pearled straps added to the gown that were also her mother's. Layne also exchanged sweet letters with her mom, her mother-in-law, and with Joseph. She had first looks with her bridal party, her brother, her father, her stepfather, and Joseph. It was very important to her that each person in her life felt special on her day.

After all the sentimental parts were done at the South Lamar House, including Layne and Joseph’s first look, the whole bridal party went to the Ole Miss campus to take photos of its beautiful landscape and quintessential landmarks. They also used a bright red trolley to escort them around the town. Finally, after all the beautiful shots, they are taken to the place where they would say they’re “I do’s,” The Jefferson

The ceremony at The Jefferson decorated stunningly. The floral arrangement in the middle of the doors leading out to the water was flawless. In front of all their family and friends, they said their vows and make their commitments.

After the ceremony, the cocktail hour and reception were exceptional. Delicious food and open bars were served endlessly. The bride's cake was beautiful, but it was the groom's cake that stole the show. His cake was made to look like Swayze Field. It was incredible and unlike anything, we have ever seen. The band had an easy time getting the guests to celebrate. And finally, the party favors were passed out which were hats embroidered with their dog and wedding date. They exited with sparklers and left in a vintage classic car.

Layne and Joseph were married on June 24, 2023, at The Jefferson in Oxford, Mississippi.

June eleventh was a lovely day for yet another lovely couple. Oxford in late spring is a glorious place to behold. Gorgeous greens and brilliant flowers fill the land as far as the eye can see. Taylor, the cute quaint town just outside the city limits, only adds to the charm. The Chapel at Plein Air was the perfect location for Ashley and Thomas to say their “I do”s.

Ashley and her closest friends and family members got ready right above the venue. Her gown was absolutely beautiful with lace and beading around the sleeves that hung off her shoulders. Thomas looked handsome in his classic black tuxedo. Their first look was in the chapel was an emotional event. Their nervous laughter filled the air as joy overwhelmed them. Thomas’ reaction exuded such tenderness and sincere love for Ashley. They read more personal vows to each other and were able to compose themselves well after the flow of happy tears.

The ceremony was sweet and perfect for the laid-back couple. They declared their vows and commitment before family and friends in the late afternoon sunbeams. After the ceremony, everyone was excited to celebrate the new husband and wife at The Mill around the block.

The reception was just a short walk across the street. The decorations were incredible, but the food was even better. (It honestly may have been the best we’ve ever eaten out of all the weddings!) With dancing, a few toasts, and a ribbon-filled send-off, everything about the reception was the perfect way to end Ashley and Thomas’ special day.

Ashley and Thomas were married on June 11, 2022, at The Chapel at Plein Air in Taylor, Mississippi.

It seemed that Saturdays in May 2021 were perfectly magical days to get married. Carlee and Tyler were married in downtown Jackson on the last Saturday in May and it was gorgeous. Not a cloud in the sky, a cool breeze flowing, and a happy and excited couple filled the day.

Carlee’s dress was classic yet had unique touches that made it one of a kind. Tyler’s words and expression said it all when he turned around and saw her in their first look. They immediately jumped on the trolley and headed to the Governor’s Mansion. The Mississippi Governor’s Mansion was stunning, but this couple outshined it. They danced in the courtyard, walked up and down the beautiful staircase, and beamed with joy as they posed and took photos. They met the rest of the large bridal party outside the Capitol building for more photos. The landscape of the day was extraordinary.

The ceremony and reception were held at The Ice House Venue. The ceremony was packed full of friends and family of the couple. A unique aspect of the wedding was that both parents of Carlee had the honor of walking her down the aisle. Carlee and Tyler’s desire was for their ceremony to not only be a wedding ceremony but also a worship service that would encourage everyone in attendance. They had close family members read scripture. They said their vows and exchanged rings. They had the same benediction read over them as their long family history. As they recessed down the aisle as husband and wife, you could hear the stringed instruments play the theme song of the popular show The Office; such a fun moment of the ceremony!

The reception was such a celebration! The couple had their first dances and cut the cake. The band played exciting songs and then out of the blue, Bully the Mississippi State mascot came walking through! (Hail State!) Everyone sang The Mississippi State Fight Song and cheered for the happy couple! The couple exited their night in an antique car with a sparkler send-off. The crowd got a little excited and lit a number of them at once causing somewhat of an explosion; thankfully no one was hurt! Carlee and Tyler’s wedding day would be difficult to forget!

Carlee and Tyler were married on May 29, 2021, at The Ice House Venue in Jackson, Mississippi.

As the spring storm clouds rolled over the vast sky, a beautiful bride and a handsome groom were getting ready to take the leap into marriage together in the small, but sweet town of New Albany, Mississippi. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, Caroline beamed as she adorned her stunning gown with attachable intricate lace sleeves in her floral-filled and homely grandmother’s house in downtown New Albany. Stephen exchanged gifts with his family receiving a watch from his mom and a knife from his dad. As Caroline came down the steps to meet Stephen, she was truly breathtaking causing him to cry tears of joy when he turned to see her. With letters to one another promising to “never let Caroline read something in the car because she gets motion sick” and to “never lose that feeling, Caroline gets when she sees Stephen’s crooked smile on his face” displayed an every day yet anything but ordinary love. Stephen and Caroline were married on April 14, 2018, at New Albany Presbyterian Church.
