Marrying your special someone doesn’t always happen in your hometown. Sometimes it makes the most sense to get married in your college town, and that’s exactly what Kyle and Suzanne decided! Oxford was the perfect place for them to begin the next chapter of life together.

Suzanne’s wedding gown was stunning and bold with her attachable puff sleeves and her high ponytail cascading around her beautiful face. Kyle and his groomsmen wore a unique shade of navy blue that was truly classic. It was a sentimental sight to watch them have their first look of the day in The Grove at Ole Miss around the same spot that he proposed. Then the whole bridal party boarded a red trolley to ride around to Kyle and Suzanne’s favorite spots in Oxford.

Their ceremony and reception were held in the small town of Taylor at the Mill at Plein Air. At the reception, celebrating and dancing could not be withheld especially with Mustache the Band on hand belting out 90’s classic country music. The whole event was simply beautiful, delightful, and one that will be remembered as such a happy day! Kyle and Suzanne were married at the Mill at Plein Air in Taylor, Mississippi on July 28, 2018.

As they got ready, Lauren and her bridesmaids celebrated the day with mimosas and a southern traditional charm cake where each slice of cake had a charm for each bridesmaid. Bridges and his groomsmen looked sleek in their traditional black tuxedos. People filled the chapel to see the sweetest flower girl, their pup Deedee, prelude the beautiful bride and to behold the glorious scene of bride and groom taking their first steps of marriage together.

Bridges and Lauren made sure to treat their guests with an amazing celebration filled with wonderful food, delicious drinks, and an awesome band to make everyone get out and down on the dance floor. Bridges and Lauren were married at the chapel at Plein Air in Taylor, Mississippi on June 16, 2018.

There is truly nothing like a summertime wedding. The bright blue skies creating the perfect backdrop canopy, the warm breeze flowing in and out of the tall pine trees, the flowers dancing effortlessly in the fields, and more only intensify the glorious day. For Madison and Hunter, nothing could have been better than a summer day just like that to be the day they said, “I do.”

Madison’s gown was light and airy with the various layered lengths of beautiful white material. She was adorned with a beautiful headband beaded with jewels as her long veil followed behind. Hunter’s reaction to seeing his stunning bride was one of genuine awe and sincere love. The nerves of the day just fell away after seeing one another.

The ceremony was Christ-centered and the celebration was full of excitement and dancing. Nothing could describe Madison and Hunter’s love better than what he said in his letter to her. Hunter said, “From the moment we met, I knew that you were very special and someone I should probably hold onto.” Little did he know then, that she would be his wife one day. Hunter and Madison were married on July 21, 2018, at The Jefferson in Oxford, Mississippi

Music | "Cathedrals" by John Lucas

On December 16, 2017, you could hear the birds rejoicing in the sun’s warmth, and you could feel the cool breeze engulfing the beautiful venue of Rasberry Greene with its gorgeous trees encircling one side and with the lake smooth and still on the other. With all of its natural beauty, the most stunning aspect of the day was the beautiful beaming bride walking down the outside aisle to meet her future husband.

Laura’s dress was simple, yet intrinsically detailed with silk, beads, and lace sleeves. She wore a vintage brooch on one side of her hair to act as the pinnacle of her natural elegance. Instead of reading letters to one another, both Christian and Laura wrote prayers for each other, thanking and adoring God for giving them the good gifts of His Son and each other on this special day of the beginning of their lifelong marriage. Christian prayed Ephesians 3:16-19 over their marriage, asking God to fill them to the very brim with His love, grace, and fullness. The marriage ceremony was intimate yet displayed a profound example of two people coming before God with reverential awe and wonder. After dinner, cake, and donuts, the couple danced the night away to the swing band that played classics as well as contemporary songs of celebration. You could see on both Christian and Laura’s faces that their love, because of their love for the Father, was steadfast and unwavering.

May they be blessed by Christ’s presence and peace all the days of their lives. Christian Good and Laura Armour were married on December 16. 2017 at Rasberry Greene in Soso, Mississippi.

In Mississippi, the month of November is the crowning jewel of Autumn weddings. Cloudy, overcast skies, dark emerald vines and greenery, and falling brown and orange leaves naturally decorated Katlin and Jon Jon’s special day. To fit the theme of the day, the Goodlett Manor in downtown Tupelo, built sometime in the 1880’s, was beautifully decorated with vintage furniture, old stained glass window panes, and a beautiful wooden banister and stair case that would make anyone feel as if they had stepped back in time. Katlin’s dress was delicately designed with beads, tulle, and lace. Jon Jon and Katlin were such a delight to film and were incredibly easy-going and laid-back, which made the ceremony especially sweet. After the traditional dances, the party began and didn’t stop until it was time to send off the couple with custom Memphis grizzlies-inspired growl towels that said “Grit, Grind, and Get Married!” Katlin and Jon Jon were married on November 4, 2017.

Every now and then, there is a couple who embody the love of Jesus Christ so much that He exudes throughout everything they do and say. Dustin and Kristen are an example of this kind of couple. Even on their wedding day when our culture says it should be all about you, they walked in true humility and love that refreshed and blessed all who were able to witness it. Their officiant said, "If you spend any time with them at all, you feel comfortable in their presence; they just swell with belonging. And we know that the love that you have for each other is not just worldly or earthly, there's something supernatural, magical, something mystical about it. God is in your relationship because of the way you love each other and the way you love us." Kristen glowed in her beautiful wedding gown, designed with long sleeves of elegant white lace, as she held her bouquet of gorgeous flowers pinned with heirloom broaches. Dustin's pre-wedding letter for Kristen was filled with loving and encouraging promises to always put her first and push her toward her dreams. "Father's Land" by Jordan Critz

Churches, country clubs, and other outside venues are great places to get married in the summer, but they aren’t always as beautiful as a backyard wedding at a stunning lake house. During the summer, one will see many people at Pickwick Lake enjoying various water sports, swimming, fishing, and simply the sounds and sights of nature. However, on June 10th, Pickwick Lake was the perfect destination for Taylor and Courtney to make everlasting vows to one another in marriage. Gorgeous from the very moment that the sun rose, this wedding day was lovely in every aspect. Courtney’s dress was a one-of-a-kind simple, yet incredibly elegant gown that made her glow with ease and excitement. Taylor’s tender letter written for Courtney stirred all kinds of joyful and sweet emotions as they stood beside the shore taking in all the beautiful landscape and tiny details of the day. As they said their vows before family and friends, the water of the lake behind them glistened and glimmered. No other reception can hold a candle to the immense amount of merriment and celebration that incorporated scrumptious food from Taylor’s Grocery from Oxford, Mississippi to literally dancing the night away. What a wonderful way to begin their new chapter of life together other than by riding off on the crisp water into the sunset.

Sometimes the most beautiful place to get married is right in your own hometown. Booneville isn’t just another small town in Mississippi. With its natural southern charm, beautifully built churches gleaming with vintage stain glass scenes, and historical rustic hardware store, Booneville was the perfect fit for Tyler and Kelley’s wedding and celebration. Seven years after first meeting at the Booneville hospital during nursing school, Tyler and Kelley became husband and wife. Much like the traditional town itself, they decided to take the traditional route of waiting until the wedding ceremony for their first look, so the day was filled with anticipation and excitement. Before the ceremony, there was a tender moment where they held hands as the minister prayed over them and their special day with only a thin old door separating them. Their ceremony was absolutely precious as they declared their vows to one another in the United Methodist Church surrounded by friends and family. Tyler and Kelley’s day was an authentic example of sweet and steadfast love i
