"For the Sake of the World" by Without Words

Nothing is a better expression of the beauty of diversity than a wedding and marriage ceremony. This couple’s wedding was such an extraordinary day that incorporated the grace, elegance, and honor of different cultures and backgrounds coming together to celebrate everlasting love and eternal commitment. From the moment she stepped onto the grounds of Heartwood Hall, she was breathtaking. Her poise and ease as the day began with her small group of bridesmaids made it sweet and an honor to behold. His genuine and tender heart for his bride as he turned for his first look at her in her gorgeous wedding gown would make anyone witnessing it swell with happiness and bliss. During their ceremony, they incorporated many unique and considerate aspects. They honored their families by giving each mother a rose. They lit unity candles and the officiant gave them their first gift by conducting a coin ceremony. Speeches from family members, dancing, and merriment made the reception a fun, yet heart-warming finale to the day. They were married at Heartwood Hall on November 10, 2017.

In Mississippi, the month of November is the crowning jewel of Autumn weddings. Cloudy, overcast skies, dark emerald vines and greenery, and falling brown and orange leaves naturally decorated Katlin and Jon Jon’s special day. To fit the theme of the day, the Goodlett Manor in downtown Tupelo, built sometime in the 1880’s, was beautifully decorated with vintage furniture, old stained glass window panes, and a beautiful wooden banister and stair case that would make anyone feel as if they had stepped back in time. Katlin’s dress was delicately designed with beads, tulle, and lace. Jon Jon and Katlin were such a delight to film and were incredibly easy-going and laid-back, which made the ceremony especially sweet. After the traditional dances, the party began and didn’t stop until it was time to send off the couple with custom Memphis grizzlies-inspired growl towels that said “Grit, Grind, and Get Married!” Katlin and Jon Jon were married on November 4, 2017.

Every now and then, there is a couple who embody the love of Jesus Christ so much that He exudes throughout everything they do and say. Dustin and Kristen are an example of this kind of couple. Even on their wedding day when our culture says it should be all about you, they walked in true humility and love that refreshed and blessed all who were able to witness it. Their officiant said, "If you spend any time with them at all, you feel comfortable in their presence; they just swell with belonging. And we know that the love that you have for each other is not just worldly or earthly, there's something supernatural, magical, something mystical about it. God is in your relationship because of the way you love each other and the way you love us." Kristen glowed in her beautiful wedding gown, designed with long sleeves of elegant white lace, as she held her bouquet of gorgeous flowers pinned with heirloom broaches. Dustin's pre-wedding letter for Kristen was filled with loving and encouraging promises to always put her first and push her toward her dreams. Everything about their wedding day seemed like a fairy tale, from quaint fall decorations to her arrival in a horse-drawn carriage. Dustin and Kristen were married at Hollow Creek Plantation in Ecru, Mississippi on October 14, 2017.

Courtney & Taylor

"Father's Land" by Jordan Critz

Churches, country clubs, and other outside venues are great places to get married in the summer, but they aren’t always as beautiful as a backyard wedding at a stunning lake house. During the summer, one will see many people at Pickwick Lake enjoying various water sports, swimming, fishing, and simply the sounds and sights of nature. However, on June 10th, Pickwick Lake was the perfect destination for Taylor and Courtney to make everlasting vows to one another in marriage. Gorgeous from the very moment that the sun rose, this wedding day was lovely in every aspect. Courtney’s dress was a one-of-a-kind simple, yet incredibly elegant gown that made her glow with ease and excitement. Taylor’s tender letter written for Courtney stirred all kinds of joyful and sweet emotions as they stood beside the shore taking in all the beautiful landscape and tiny details of the day. As they said their vows before family and friends, the water of the lake behind them glistened and glimmered. No other reception can hold a candle to the immense amount of merriment and celebration that incorporated scrumptious food from Taylor’s Grocery from Oxford, Mississippi to literally dancing the night away. What a wonderful way to begin their new chapter of life together other than by riding off on the crisp water into the sunset.

"Brighter Days - Instrumental" by The Light The Heat

Sometimes the most beautiful place to get married is right in your own hometown. Booneville isn’t just another small town in Mississippi. With its natural southern charm, beautifully built churches gleaming with vintage stain glass scenes, and historical rustic hardware store, Booneville was the perfect fit for Tyler and Kelley’s wedding and celebration. Seven years after first meeting at the Booneville hospital during nursing school, Tyler and Kelley became husband and wife. Much like the traditional town itself, they decided to take the traditional route of waiting until the wedding ceremony for their first look, so the day was filled with anticipation and excitement. Before the ceremony, there was a tender moment where they held hands as the minister prayed over them and their special day with only a thin old door separating them. Their ceremony was absolutely precious as they declared their vows to one another in the United Methodist Church surrounded by friends and family. Tyler and Kelley’s day was an authentic example of sweet and steadfast love i

"Today is a celebration. It's a celebration of love, of commitment, of friendship, of family, and two people who are in it forever to become one. Today is a sealing. Today, a four year love affair has come to a point where a holy seal will be placed on your lives making you one. We've come together in the prescense of God to witness that sealing and celebrate the union of the joining of Noah and Sara."

To say that Noah McQueen and Sara Flatt’s wedding day looked like a scene straight out of a classic fairy tale would be an understatement. From the beautiful bridal bouquet delicately filled with white ranunculus, vanilla roses, and white waxflowers to the awed and love-struck expression on Noah’s face as his gorgeous and timeless bride walked down the aisle, this day can only be remembered as completely enchanting. Noah and Sara’s wedding took place in the modest, but breathtaking town of Corinth, Mississippi under the bright blue sky at Franklin Courtyard on May 27th, 2017.  It can be said that on that day, Noah took Sara to be his McQueen, and they lived happily ever after.

"I Will Exalt" by Without Words(Bethel)

In the rolling hills of eastern Kentucky, there is a quaint little college town called Moorehead. American flags line the streetlights as you drive through the historic down town. In the spring and summer, the vast greenery of the surrounding hills and bright blue sky above remind you of the captivating beauty of creation and how amazed you are to have a moment to drink it all in deeply. On May 20, 2017, something else even more beautiful took place in this small quiet town. A holy covenant was being formed and displayed. Two college sweethearts, in the very town they fell in love in, said “I do.” Sami and Logan’s wedding, from the traditional ceremonial first-look down to the individualized and personal vows, was a genuine spectacle of true and steadfast love. With friends and family by their side, Sami and Logan entered into a holy journey filled with tears of joy and many moments of laughter and excitement.

Kyle and Anna awoke on this Friday morning to an unimaginable winter wonderland. It's not exactly what most people envision for their wedding day, especially in Memphis, Tennessee, but what a great day it was. From the short and frigid photoshoots to the hot dance floor, it was a day we will not soon forget.
