Grace and Asher's wedding weekend was the kind of event that feels like it was pulled from the pages of a fairytale—with heartfelt joy, breathtaking design, and a bride and groom who radiated happiness from start to finish.
The celebration began at Grace's childhood home—a place filled with memories, including her name still etched into the cement in the garage. Though the original plan was to hold the rehearsal around the backyard pool, Mississippi Spring had its own ideas. Rain moved in and required a last-minute pivot, but spirits stayed high. On the covered porch, family and friends toasted the couple, sharing stories and laughter under string lights and soft skies. Asher ended the night holding back tears, completely in awe of his bride-to-be. Everyone knew something extraordinary was ahead.
Saturday brought more rain, but not even the weather could put a damper on the day. The Dabbs' family home transformed into a Southern dream, with lush florals, towering trees, and thoughtfully styled tents spilling into the landscape. Grace, in her signature cat pajamas, was her bubbly, radiant self as she prepared for the day surrounded by her bridesmaids.
Her bridal look was nothing short of iconic. A strapless gown was paired with a luxurious cape that paid homage to vintage elegance, complete with gloves and a timeless headpiece. When she stepped out for first looks, the reactions were priceless—tears, laughter, and awe from her dad, her girls, and most of all, Asher.
His reaction during their first look said it all: overwhelmed, overcome, and with the sweetest ask—"Can I hug her?" The two read letters aloud in a quiet, sacred moment, reflecting on the road that led them here. Even through the mist and drizzle, they were simply radiant together.
Their ceremony took place at First Methodist Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi—a deeply meaningful setting for both. As lovers of music and musicals, Grace and Asher incorporated emotionally rich songs from The Greatest Showman and Wicked, weaving in both whimsy and weight. Grace's grandfather offered heartfelt words during the service. Surrounded by all who love them, the two exchanged vows and became husband and wife.
Back at the family home, the celebration continued in unforgettable style. A custom "sports bar" showcased the couple's collegiate athletic achievements, while gourmet food and drinks were served throughout the evening. The dance floor was full all night, thanks to an incredible band, and the energy never dipped. Fireworks lit the sky, cigars were passed around, and the after-party carried on deep into the night.
Grace and Asher's wedding was a perfect blend of family, music, beauty, and uncontainable joy. It was an honor to capture such a meaningful weekend—one we won't forget. Grace and Asher were married on May 10, 2025, at First Methodist Church in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
