Eliza and Will's wedding day was full of grandeur, class, and sentimental moments. It was clear that they both have so many people who love and support them by the amount of people who came to witness and celebrate their matrimony. Though it was a hot day, Eliza and Will were ecstatic to finally marry.
The day began at Eliza's family home. She and her bridesmaids got hair and makeup done and laughed about speeches made at the rehearsal dinner the night before. Eliza got into her elegant "off-the-shoulder" gown in her parent's bright, airy room. Her sisters helped her into her shoes, and she had an emotional first look with her dad. Eliza also had a first look with her bridesmaids outside by the pool. After marveling at the stunning bride-to-be, everyone loaded the bus to The Reed House at Live Oaks.
As they walked into the venue, it was still in the process of being set up. However, it was already gorgeous with large floral arrangements, the pink checkered dance floor, and an incredible ice sculpture with Eliza and Will's initials. It was almost time for the first look with the bride and groom. Will looked very handsome in his black tuxedo, standing with his back toward Eliza as she approached the concrete pad beside a giant oak tree. When Will saw Eliza, he was overjoyed to finally be with her on their big day.
Their ceremony was perfectly timed at dusk, which allowed beautiful beams of light to come through the giant oak trees. The altar was immaculately decorated with flowers and a large floral cross. Eliza's uncle sang beautiful songs throughout the ceremony, which delighted everyone there. After exchanging vows and rings, Eliza and Will were finally married.
The reception that followed was incredible. There was so much food and variety to choose from. Will even had a poker table decorated with cookies that looked like cards and chips. The band had no trouble getting people out on the dance floor. As the evening went on, hats with an American flag on the front and red, white, and blue luau necklaces were passed out as mementos to remember the day. Eliza and Will left through a tunnel of color into a vintage car as cold sparklers lit their silhouettes. Eliza, Will and their families were a delight to be around and film.
Eliza and Will were married on May 25, 2024, at The Reed House at Live Oaks near Jackson, Mississippi.
